I have shown both coins to two experienced cleaners of bronze coins, Richard Swan and Giovanni Testa, each of whom has over 20 years experience in cleaning and consequently much experience of the surfaces and patinas of bronze coins. Mr. Swan and Mr. Testa are both of the opinion that the two coins are cast. I have examined the coins closely myself, and I agree with them. Forgery Type: Cast |
